Vision for Fire on the Mountain

For many years I have felt the Lord leading me to start a ministry for the people at Top of the World. After much prayer, the Lord is opening doors in a mighty way. We were able to have our first service in October of 2020 at Eagle Rock Retreat Center. What a blessing that Lon and Bo Gillooly were both onboard from the first meeting and shared our vision! After having two services a month and trying to work with their retreat schedule, the leadership met and discussed the future of this ministry. The Lord gave us the opportunity to buy a lot for a future church!

The Lord has orchestrated a strong core of believers that share the vision of what Fire on the Mountain should be. We feel strongly about building this church debt-free, very similar to what New Covenant Christian Center in Valdosta, GA did back in the 1980s. The first stage is to purchase the lot, put a well and septic tank and slab. We pray that God blesses us with the finances to do this, and we will be well on our way to reach the people of Top of the World.

Matthew 28:19 says “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit”. It is our desire to make disciples, grow together in Christ, and serve our community. We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit and have already seen many miracles. We believe people will be saved, delivered, and healed through the power of the Holy Spirit. We realize much ministry is needed on this mountain and we want to be available to do what God wants.
