Myron began in the ministry in the late 1970s leading music for the New Covenant Sunday school class at First United Methodist Church in Valdosta, GA. This Sunday school class led to the planting of a new church in the area, New Covenant Christian Center, the first charismatic non-denominational church in Valdosta. He was worship leader there and then helped plant the first renewal United Methodist Church in the South Georgia Conference, Cornerstone UMC. He was worship leader and administrator there for many years, forming a teaching and training school called “Ministry of Praise” that helped facilitate contemporary praise and worship in traditional United Methodist Churches. He went on to lead worship at the Gathering UMC before moving to Tennessee and joining River Oaks Community Church. Myron was ordained in 2020 as a pastor with CAM (Christian Alliance of Ministries) by L.A. Joiner. Myron has also had a long association with Rick Bonfim Ministries, an evangelical and mission ministry based in Athens, GA. Myron has been the worship leader for their annual conference, “Rekindle the Flame” since 2009 and been on many mission trips with this organization. Myron is married to Jessica and has four children: Sean, Amy, Amber and Catherine, and six grandchildren.
